I Quit My Job Today

I know…. The economy is awful. Unemployment is at near record highs. I should feel blessed just to have a job, even if I’m bored/unfulfilled/insert whatever criteria here…

I have a mentor/coach that is fond of saying “leap and the net shall appear”. And I believe there are some elements of truth to that. I, even, have some recent family experiences where that statement applies 100%. But, I’m NOT that crazy.

I am a planner. I LOVE to be strategic; but, when push comes to shove, I’m really best at breaking that strategy down to the nitty-gritty details and executing on it. I routinely go from 10,000 feet to a millimeter off the ground in about the bat of an eye. I am a planner.

Those of you who know me WELL, already know that, and are probably NOT surprised by my action today.

Those of you who don’t know me that well, should now understand that I have been planning this for quite a while.

My strategy is more like “leap and MAKE the net appear”.

So, what’s next?

Well, I quit my job AND got my first client today.  I have turned my former employer into my first client.

VIC Technologies is now open for business.  I will be providing Virtual CTO services to startups and small businesses.  My next post will be on what exactly a “Virtual CTO” is….
